Karen Sees is a fast-paced, psychological horror game inspired by the hundreds of reported Karen sightings done in the past few years. You play as night guard Bob and his young girlfriend, Alice, who are out to buy the latest movie – but things get weird when the store manager tells them there’s been a Karen sighting this morning.
What will happen once you and your companion are inside the mall? You’ll have to find the notes before the Karen finds you, but how are you supposed to navigate this massive mall at night? With its giant, spooky shopping and restaurants, and populated by vicious, fast psychopathic creatures, the night gets ever darker and more threatening. Will you survive?
Karen Sees is the first installment of the Karen series of psychological horror games. Each game in the series will be a massive, spooky horror adventure! Karen Sees is primarily focused on the gameplay, story and scares, with a brief introduction and some in-game cutscenes. More cutscenes, gameplay and detail will be added in future titles!

In this project I started with the idea of creating a fun, casual retro-action game. Hence, the combination of classic gameplay with retro graphic style like DOS, 8-bit, 16-bit or even early 3D adventures. About the gameplay: It is close to Super Bomberman, but with multiple players. There are a lot of different mini games and the gameplay is more about skill and puzzle solving instead of action.
It is possible to play the game cooperatively or competitively.
You are 4 players together, the game needs 4 controllers.
