Bibbity Bobbity Boo is an old-fashioned Platformer with both top-down and 3rd-person modes. With a new addition of 4 player co-op, as well as local or online multiplayer. You must traverse a series of 12 challenging levels in order to collect all the marbles and save the princess from the witch’s clutches.

The game was created to be fun to play, and puzzle-y. Each of the platforming levels are divided into two “boxes”. Only one player can enter each of these boxes at a time. Unlike the standard “Jump up, run forward, jump down” design of traditional platform games, each box has a different mechanic.

Box 1:

In the boxes of the first 12 levels, you must jump from platform to platform in order to reach the princess, who is trapped on a train. Each jump has a spring, and as you jump and hit the spring, it sends you up or down. When you hit a wall, that spring instantly changes direction, sending you flying into the air.

Box 2:

In the boxes of the second 12 levels, you must fight enemies to collect gold coins. You can either grab the coins directly or by throwing marbles at the enemy. Upon defeating a level in box 2, the level and its associated coins are removed from the game.

Box 3:

In the boxes of the final 12 levels, you must shoot at a path of gems that are laid out on the map. You only have a limited supply of shots, but once you shoot, you can’t pick up any extra shots until your supply reaches zero. The goal of the levels are to shoot the long beam in order to reach and collect all the gems.

The game was created for fun. It was never intended to be a perfect game. Most of the levels are impossible and lack proper balance (such as an anti-gravity wall in level 12). As a joke, there is an achievement called “Sadistic in the Pursuit of Quality” in which you have to get a 100% on every level. This achievement isn’t based on the quality of the game.
