Guess my game of the year. Scobleizer, gone are the days of a bunch of random clicks and a few jerks. The mechanics of Scobleizer are more refined, and it’s a lot of fun to play. The main reason I think it’s been my game of the year so far is because the community is active and the developers are just above perfect in their development.

It didn’t take long to realise that the game is in a pretty good place and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. I suspect that’s the main reason the community has been so active.

I’ll be happily playing the game on the PC until June 5th when Xbox One becomes my primary platform. I don’t have any other reasons to play Scobleizer on the Xbox One, so this will be my last game on the console. I am sad, because I really like Scobleizer.

Whenever I play a game that takes a long time to play, I just switch to Scobleizer.

One of the things that I really like about Jusian’s games is how they are so absorbing and engaging, and that’s especially true of Matriarch. One aspect of the game that helps immensely is that Jusian tells the story of the Matriarch from the beginning, giving the player a start and a direction before starting the game proper. The game doesn’t have a tutorial and very quickly throws you in the deep end where you’ll need to start making money and organising your troops in order to survive and get ahead. The game makes it very clear that the Matriarch needs to provide what her people need and must be seen to be doing a great job or else her people are likely to run away… and that’s the point at which she needs to put her heart and passion into taking care of them.

Some of the game modes become rather obscured when you are as young as the Matriarch and don’t have a hang of the differences, but this only happens to a limited extent and it’s no problem keeping track of things. The difficulty setting is well thought out and is represented by a well detailed basket that you can put the game in and the weight of the game changes accordingly. It’s a rather clever approach as the basket has warnings when you start and the weight changes (when you have some things you shouldn’t) as you progress through the various modes.

Like most Jusian games that I have played, the graphics are excellent for some reason and there are no gaudy dashboards or anything of that nature that distract or annoy. Most of the game is played on the couch and is based in the same way as many other tower defence games. You need to go out and build things to keep your people safe and you need to watch out for enemies. Each level is arranged in what looks like a grid where buildings are scattered, which gives you plenty of places where you can put down turrets and turrets are easy to make so you’re not going to find it

The Matriarch Product Key is the playable overseer in Cheitha. While she is actively directing the facility’s defences in certain waves, she’s also the overseer of the facility’s stocks. As the waves progress, your Matriarch will call upon you to make more complex decisions such as improving defences and upgrading any weapons your Matriarch finds.
