Allows users to automatically archive all messages in a specified folder or entire Exchange Server mailbox using the context menu of the folder. A new menu item is added to the context menu of a folder that allows archive of the messages in the folder by simply selecting Archive!

Ive never heard of that being usefull:

The AutoArchive Now add-in is now working and can auto move messages from the folder into another folder for safe keeping. I have configured it to work with my own Hotmail,GMail,Yahoo etc. account.

After installing it, the first step to move messages into the archive folder is to right click on the messages and select the context menu.

You can select “Archive” from the context menu and then it will ask you what folder the messages are to be archived into. So far, the best way to select the folder into which to archive the messages is to navigate to that folder in Outlook, and select it from the context menu.

For a new user this could be a bit confusing, but it works quite well once you understand how to use it.

I believe your saying that the creation of the archive folder should be completely ‘automatic’, so that when you create your archive folder, it should be already filled with messages. However, I’d suggest a simple 3 step process:

create a main folder,
create a sub-folder within the main folder and this should be the archive folder.
In the archive subfolder add the destination folder for the archived messages.

hmmmmm… The context menu appears to be limited to the current mailbox. So, let’s say I create a new mailbox for all of the archive messages in my main folder, the archive would be available in my “inbox” which is already empty.

What exactly is AutoArchive Now? is it a plugin for OWA (Outlook Web Access) that I don’t have?

You are correct, unfortunately it is a plugin for the browser based version of outlook. However, I should have mentioned that in AutoArchive Now, you can tell it to archive messages into another folder. There are a few
