My sister has a 12 volt, 2.5kW heater she uses after she pulls her motor home out for an off-road adventure so i should be able to do the same. i was planning on having a solar inverter with a 4.8 kw battery capable of running a range of electronics for power and heat. but i have some concerns. the inverter being small, i was looking at the zinc-air batteries that have a prismatic design and have higher energy densities compared to many other systems. do i need a big battery? the inverter, mine is a tian pan electrical just does run some type of air-cooling. is a 2.5kw heater okay for such a small battery? is a 50 amp would be too much i want to charge my battery from my grid hook up which is 110v, would a 12v battery work for power and heat? how can i tell if i have the amperage i need for the inverter to work properly? i will be running this off my on-grid as well as off my shore power
