     To summarize, the game itself is pretty standard. You can choose your own class for your character, then you choose your weapon and magic to accompany it. While the visuals can be boring, for me they fit quite well with the general feel of the game. The game is sort of a social RPG, where you can take part in the story with other players, through voice chat and telepathy. So, for me, it has a bit of a Persona feel, which is a good thing.

     Combat itself is a bit of a mish-mash of old-school turn based action and action RPG. You and your party are turned into your party, and you select your characters, attack order, and so on. However, there is no direct control over your character, you simply select your actions through talking with your party. There is a “Just Do It” button if you’re angry or feel like taking a risk, but it’s pretty much a hit or miss, as there is no true auto-heal. Instead you do it by manually walking or running back to your party. The battle systems are done well, they have full 3D battles with all the usual tropes (boss fights, special moves, and so on).
