so i have a 2nd hp laptop and i have reinstalled the same software on it and it’s not working. am i the only one to have had this problem? i’m not sure what to do anymore..

i do not believe that the program is faulty. your isp may be blocking the program and you need to ask them why they are doing so. you are blocking the program. it is what is making the connection work.

i’m not sure if you’re right, but that is my theory as i’m not using other programs to do this as you’re doing.

i have been trying to find a solution to this issue for weeks and i have tried everything i can think of. i have uninstalled iobit and reinstalled it several times (btw they only charge for the software which is $10 and allows for the phone app for free). i have uninstalled and reinstalled the software numerous times. i have used all of the many posts on this forum to try to find an answer. i have run it in safe mode and full mode. i have tried to delete all of the registry entries that have been suggested on this forum. i have tried to uninstall all drivers. i have disabled/enabled the firewall. i have tried all of the settings in the control panel. i have even uninstalled all internet connections and tried to re-add them. i have been at this for weeks and have tried everything i can think of. everytime i start the computer i am able to get on the internet but after a while i can no longer get online. if i restart and try to connect it says that the connection has been lost or dropped. if i go through the iobit program and select the connection i am connected to, it tells me i am connected to the internet and that it is working well, however, i cannot access the internet. if i try to connect to a webpage it keeps saying “cannot connect”. if i try to run the program it will give me a option to connect and then say “connection error. please check your internet connection and try again.” if i check my connection it shows i am connected to the internet but i cannot access the internet. if i go to my internet connections it shows i am connected and my speed is fine. my problem is that i can not access the internet at all. i can only get it to work temporarily and then it stops working and i am back to the same problem. any help is greatly appreciated!

i have been trying to figure out why i can’t get online. i was trying to change the dns settings for this computer. after doing so, when i try to go to a website, i get “cannot connect”. my isp’s dns is working fine on this computer, and i can get the internet to work fine on my other computer and my wife’s computer. i have tried reinstalling iobit several times, deleting the registry entries, even trying to change the dns settings in the control panel. all to no avail. i can’t figure out why i can’t get online.
i have the same problem. i have an iobit booster and internet booster. i run both in the background all the time. i have tried to run the programs and check the connection from the control panel and it shows that the connection is fine. i have tried to update it from the main menu and it shows that it is up to date. also when i do a scan it shows that it is connected fine but when i click on the connection i am connected to it says cannot connect. if i go to the control panel and go to the main connections it shows that i am connected but it also says cannot connect. i have had this problem for a few months. i am unsure how to fix it. please help!
i have used these and my computer seems to disconnect sometimes and cannot connect to the internet. it is not a huge problem but when i cannot connect to the internet i have to reset my modem or router.
i think i understand what iobit did, the issue is that the update was simply too big to install in a way that would be acceptable. so instead of simply installing the update, it installs everything except the update. the update is what resets the settings. i dont understand why they didnt just patch the settings and make it mandatory before installing the rest of the software.
