Create shortcuts for important files
The application is very easy to handle and configuring it is a breeze. Its forthright interface comprises eight grids that can host shortcuts to important documents, while the lower side of the window can include an unlimited number of shortcuts, neatly organized into three different categories, namely programs, files and others.
Adding a new item to the list is easily done either by dragging and dropping a file into the main window or by using the dedicated options in the main menu. For the top grids, clicking on them will open the 'Browse' dialog. Shortcuts can be easily removed from the application by using the dedicated option in the right-click menu.
One-click access to all your favorite files
Once you configured the shortcut list, accessing a file is done by simply clicking on its symbol. Unfortunately, JAppLaunch does not allow you to assign a small description to the icons in the top grid (which would be really handy in case two files have the same icon), but you can do that for files stored in the 'Programs', 'Files' and 'Others' categories.
The application can also be launched directly from a removable drive, provided you activate the 'Replace drive letter' function in the 'Settings' window. This option enables JAppLaunch to automatically identify the correct drive letter for all the shortcuts.
A useful launcher for any type of file
JAppLaunch eases the access to your most important or frequently used documents, pictures, videos or any other type of file. It is a simple launcher that can come in handy to anyone, helping users prevent desktop clutters. Nevertheless, adding it support for folder access and system utilities could really add to its overall value.

CrazyTunes is a music player featuring a unique UI, which gives the user a more comfortable way to control their music. In fact, you can perform a few operations with the touch of a button, using a slider or even changing the song title with the keyboard. The application is very simple to handle and its configuration is a breeze.
Enjoy your music
CrazyTunes features a three main modules, which can be accessed by using the dedicated buttons in the bottom right corner of the window. These modules consist of a list of songs, an equalizer and a sidebar which contains most of the options to be adjusted.
The main section is the most interesting because it contains all the options to browse, play, edit, rate and save your music. You can choose either to browse the file system by folder, by artist or by album. Also, you can configure the playback method to be used either to create new playlists or to edit the songs currently loaded in the list.
The other two sections represent the equalizer and the sidebar. The top section is the equalizer, which allows you to adjust the volume and the bass/treble balance of the music. The other section is the sidebar, which provides you with all the necessary information about the currently loaded songs, such as the song title, album name, artist name, the genre, the duration, the size, the last played, the last added, the rating and the percentage rate of the music.
Additional features
CrazyTunes has a few features that are not commonly found in other applications, such as the ability to add or remove tracks from the playlist and the ability to rate the song in a convenient manner.
The main downside of the application is that it is not possible to set the repeat, shuffle and shuffle-and-repeat options. Also, it is not possible to remove the equalizer or to add new presets to the equalizer.
This application can be easily accessed through the ‘File > Open’ menu. Once the song is opened in the list, you can directly add it to the playlist by using the dedicated options in the right-click menu.

Conceptually, the shortcut menu can be considered a child of Windows Explorer. Just like Explorer, the menu has an understandable tree structure, with various hierarchies:

Folder > Object

File > File

Folder > Object > Directory

JAppLaunch has a special place in the menu for this last hierarchy, as it can identify shortcut folders that have been created by Explorer. The menu also has a simple ‘View All’ button that opens a window containing all the shortcuts currently on the system.

The application is actually fairly configurable, but I still found it to be a little bit hard to understand, especially the ‘Shortcut folder’ option. You could simply remove the ‘Sort files by name’ option, but this would make the menu a little bit unreadable, especially if there is no order among the items. The ‘Set up shortcut list’ option lets you define the specific files that will be recognized in the main window.

Conclusion

JAppLaunch is a simple and efficient application that can provide one-click access to the shortcuts for important files. The simplicity of its interface makes it easy to set up, allowing users to get quick access to their most important shortcuts. Even though its configurability might be a bit limited, JAppLaunch is a good choice for an efficient way to organize your shortcuts.

Find Your Files Instantly:
The easiest way to open any file is by clicking its icon on the desktop. That's what JAppLaunch does. However, it has no problem showing any file stored on your computer. To open a file, click on its icon on your desktop or double-click on the shortcut you created.
The 'Browse' dialog lets you access any file or folder stored on your computer.
Replace My Drive Letter With One Click:
Need access to a drive that isn't on your computer? Not a problem. Simply activate 'Replace drive letter' in the 'Settings' window and click on the drive letter you want. Then, click on the 'Add shortcut' button and select the shortcut you want to replace the drive letter with.
Let The System Find What To Do With Your Files:
JAppLaunch let the system find what to do with your files. All you have to do is to enable the 'Replace drive letter' option in the 'Settings' window. Then, activate the 'Show all files' option and specify what you want to happen when you click on any shortcut. You can also activate 'Show system files' option and specify what you want to happen when you click on a system file.
The program is lightweight, simple to use and can access the shortcuts you created using almost any version of Windows. Nevertheless, it could benefit from a 'Show folder contents' option and a way to edit the shortcuts.
