I’ve been looking for a decent fantasy game since my friend moved to another state and I had to stop playing Final Fantasy Tactics with him, then when I ran out of games to play with a multiplayer online game, I thought of Dragon’s Crown and what was supposed to be the Top Rated games in the Software Category.

Later after seeing a few ads of the game, I got to thinking more about it, and read up on how the game worked.

For the smallest frame size, the game runs great on my older 7 year old laptop, so I decided to purchase the game about a month later.

After downloading the game and installing it, I noticed how polished it was on the main menu and saw that the game was optimized to run on Windows 7 and Mac OSX 10.7, which I’m running on. I also noticed that it was the new Dragon’s Crown being the same amount of content, and less of a square shape, thus the game called it the Undertale game.

The first thing you see when you reach the main menu is a slider for the camera, which is tied to the keyboard’s arrow keys or cursor keys to smoothly move between a first and third person view. You can also set the size of your window to be larger or smaller, from the small size in the game to the full screen you see in the screenshots, the game is not limited to your screen resolution.

The main menu screen is, at first glance, almost straight forward, and contains your character’s main stats, the interface for your accessories, stats, and an auto save feature. It has no options, and seems to be content with providing the bare minimum, but it is also a good place to begin if you’re new to the game.

To the left of the main menu, you see the general map, where you can select between multiple worlds. To the left of the map, you can see the time, weapons, the mana of every magic spell, the number of charges on each weapon, and the number of the current world map.

There is also a tiny link on the bottom right to link to the in-game tutorial, for new players. The rest of the screen is completely customizable, you can see the over world map, it has a map like view, if you choose to select the three different character types from the character screen.
