Set in a retro urban sci-fi world, AIPD is a coop action shooter with a visual style that is an homage to 80s neon art styles, pioneered by games like Minestorm on the Vectrex console system or feature films like TRON. It features a deep and varied system of multiple combinations of weapons, unlimited arena permutations and a broad selection of enemies.
Choose your loadout carefully and adjust it to your needs using the weapon-building system. Each weapon in AIPD has a unique effect and an individual sound when using it. Construct your arsenal using up to three different weapons and the upgrades you earn using them. A large variety of weapons is available, including the powerful howitzer, the devastating shotgun, the precise phaser, etc.
The 60s setting of AIPD is inspired by the mighty Power Rangers in many regards. T-Shirts and pants are the uniform of the futuristic Police. The enemies try to fight with their own style, and each has its own individual movements, attacks, sounds, pattern recognition, etc. Finding the best weapon combination to fight the enemies is a matter of strategy.

How to Play
AIPD is played on arcade-style levels which can be played single player or in a local coop-mode with up to four players.
In single-player-mode you play through different levels as a fresh rookie and expand your rank by clearing the levels.
You can select a special rank the more times you play on a level. There are five different ranks: Rookie, Standard, Elite, Master, and commander.
You choose your loadout after you start the level and you can freely change your loadout using the left and right buttons. The game remembers what suits you the best.
When you finish a level, you can use the experience you earned to buy weapon upgrades in the shop using the points you’ve earned.
In the menu you can choose between single player, local coop-mode with up to four players and online-coop-mode.
You can also play the game with a gamepad or use a mouse and keyboard.

Game Modes
Single player

You play through different levels as a fresh rookie and you are ranked based on your performance on each level. You can get a higher rank by clearing all the levels on a certain difficulty.

Local Coop-mode with up to four players

Two local players play on one screen on a split-screen.

This is a big update!!With this update I want to add more secrets to Hatch & Slay ;D
How does the update work? :
– For every new player who purchases Hatch & Slay for the first time there will be two new exclusive customizations available for the turtle. The first turtle will be a Varaz and the second will be a large turtle.

The customizations are only available to new players and will only be added when they purchase Hatch & Slay through the game’s in-game store.
I’m also working on a new update which will bring a lot more content to Hatch & Slay. This will include new enemies, bosses and more!

There are few things missing in the game. A working main menu and a tutorial mode.
I will work on both of them this year. I hope you will like it.

The game is split into four stages. The first one of these you will find out upon starting the game, whereas the third one will be unlocked if you reach certain points in the game.Each of the stages has a mood that some times can change, but mainly they all have multiple endings. It is your job to reach them by completing the stages successfully.In the beginning of the game, the protagonist is a puppy and in the first stages you will be discovering this fact, but you are not really aware of this fact as that is generally the case with dogs, the protagonist has no cognition and awareness of other things and he will die if he doesn’t receive any attention and care. When the first stage of the game ends, the protagonist ends up in what looks like an abandoned village and that is where you will realize how old he is. Not only that, the villagers are also old and they are a lot worse than the protagonist. Then you will be introduced to the dog trainer, an old guy, who decides to “teach” this elderly dog a lesson as well and that is how you start the second stage of the game.In this stage you have to reach a certain point, beat the trainer, and then escape from the village. The entire village is not really related to the story, it is only there for decoration and the only one talking about the story is a girl you meet, who is very young and cute. This stage also has multiple endings.
In the third stage of the game, you will arrive to a new town in which you will meet a young dog named “Lollipop” who also has a sad story to tell. In this stage, and in the fourth stage as well, you will be rescuing all the child mice (we don’t know why there are mice, but that is a minor detail).When you complete this stage, and you will eventually reach it, you will be able to enter the world of “Lollipop”.Here you will be met with one of the most colorful landscapes you have seen in any game as well as with this dog whom you will meet right away in a completely different location. This stage is the longest in the game and will have most of the interesting gameplay elements as you’ll see here.When you complete this stage, you reach the world of “Sad Jack”.This stage has a wide variety of interesting gameplay elements and it is the only stage in the game, where it is actually possible to get a trophy (literally!).
