I expected even better. But the software was downloaded and installed within a few minutes, without any difficulty. All set. To start, I have an account on the target PC (Windows 8.1 Pro) and the client installed on my computer (Windows 10). For the most part, everything worked smoothly and we were able to communicate and view remote computer screens, applications, windows, etc.
However, when the application first starts, it may take several minutes to connect to the target PC, then it may take an even longer time to return to the remote PC to see it is working, to continue to see the remote PC. During this time of inactivity, the remote client application cannot be used until the two applications have restarted again (i.e. I cannot use my computer and log into Windows to view work or play).
Even if the two instances of the remote client are active, when I go back into remote PC to view my work, sometimes I am not able to see the remote PC at all, meaning that the connection was lost. There was a time, perhaps 5 minutes, when the remote PC was not working at all, and the same condition occurred. A return to the remote PC did not recover the connection.
Overall, I am still happy with the software, but it needs to get better and perform more reliably in order to be acceptable.
